What’s the difference between debt and equity? What’s the best way to get funding for the next step of your entrepreneurial journey? In Startup Alleghenies Financing Bootcamp, held weekly from September 6-27, you’ll gain critical financial literacy and resources to guide you through crucial decisions for your new business.

What it is: This master class features 4 two-hour sessions taught by finance experts in topics such as budgeting, financial software options, debt and equity and economic development loans.  The sessions are taught virtually and can be attended from anywhere. After each training session, each participant will have a 60-minute one-on-one session with the instructor that includes followup questions and financial counseling. (You can find a full description of sessions here)

What it costs: This bootcamp is offered completely free of charge, thanks to a grant from the Small Business Development Administration, but space is limited to ensure that each participant can receive individualized coaching. There are only ten spots available.  Due to the small class size, the selection process is competitive, and ten applicants will be selected based on the strength of their application.

How to apply: Apply for a spot in this 12-hour bootcamp at https://www.startupalleghenies.com/bootcamp/ by August 9, 2022. Applicants will be notified by August 17, 2022.
