Creative Coach Azriel Weaver helps bridge the gap between where you are and where you want to be.

The free Startup Alleghenies Entrepreneur Enrichment workshop series is kicking off May 16 at Coal Country Brewing (2343 Benjamin Franklin Highway, Ebensburg) with “Visualizing where you are and where you want to be” presented by Creative Coach Azriel Weaver, followed by a vision boarding session led by Cathy Gruss, owner of Vision Partying. The workshop runs from 4 – 6 PM, followed by a mixer from 6-7:30 PM.

Free refreshments will be served including house-made beer and sodas, beer mac and cheese, sliders, a pretzel platter and more.

You can register for the May 16 event here.

Gruss and Weaver say the evening will cater to entrepreneurs, solopreneurs and small businesses and will help bring their vision into focus.

The vision boarding process helps creators build an unlimited mindset, which is very freeing and helps us see beyond limitations.

Gruss describes vision boarding as a valuable conduit to visualize goals and determine how to reach them. “It involves clipping images of your short and long-term goals and affixing them to a board,” she said, adding that the mere act of doing the exercise fast tracks everything and brings about clarity. “It feeds into your subconscious,” she explains.

Defining goals is just one step closer to achieving them, according to Gruss. “The vision boarding process helps creators build an unlimited mindset, which is very freeing and helps us see beyond limitations,” she says.

Envision your goals and bring them to life with Vision Partying.

Weaver will come prepared to answer questions to help attendees achieve a laser-like focus on where their path begins and why it’s important to define where they are going. “I liken it to trailhead signage—by the end, I hope they will have the tools to create a sign that states the destination, the distance, the terrain, the elevation, etc. I hope to also give them a compass in case they get lost along the journey,” he says.

Attendees will emerge with knowledge about planning for their future and a deeper understanding of all the resources that are available from JARI and Startup Alleghenies.
