The Whiskey Cabin at Hideaway Ranch Cuts the Ribbon

A new glamping cabin tent is now available for rent in the foothills of Blue Knob Ski resort. Owners of Olde Bedford Brewery, David and Mary Heller, recently celebrated the ribbon cutting for the Whiskey Cabin at Hideaway Ranch.

Startup Alleghenies helped the Hellers to access helpful funding to get up and running. Hideaway Ranch, established in the late 1800, in historic Bedford County, home of the 1794 Whiskey Rebellion. The Ranch has a stocked pond for fishing, accessible kayaks and numerous groomed trails for hiking, biking and off-road, with 55 acres of open adventure for four seasons.

The Ranch is near Blue Knob State Park and Blue Knob All-Seasons Resort. Local craft beer from Old Bedford Brewing as well as local wines and spirits are served at the cabin.
