Park Square Market in Confluence celebrated its ribbon-cutting on Friday October 13, bringing a new shopping experience that supports local suppliers and artisans and brings fresh, nutritious food and unique products to the community.

Owners Suzanne Lentz and Jeffrey “Pope” Pankey worked with Somerset County’s Startup Alleghenies Coach Matt Reckner and with JARI. The market opened in September, offering produce, eggs, dairy products and meat from local farms, as well as local beverages and baked goods like soda, bagels and pepperoni rolls. The market has a deli case with grab-and-go sandwiches and salads, and, in addition to foods, carries locally-made soaps, bug spray, lip balm and lotions.

“Suzanne & Jeff are a dynamic duo of experienced entrepreneurs that have a passion for the Confluence community and seeing it grow,” Reckner said.

Park Square Market is at 606 Logan Place in Confluence. Shoppers are already calling it “a great addition to the community” and “a unique and lovely market.”
