New vendors join the Alleghenies Marketplace in time for holiday shopping

 In Alleghenies Marketplace, Entrepreneurship

The Alleghenies Marketplace launched on July 19 with close to 50 merchants offering a wide array of products and even services, all in one convenient e-commerce platform. Shoppers will love buying local this holiday season with access to nearly 75 merchants offering hundreds of great gifts, made or curated right here, delivered to your door.

Here are a few of the new merchants who recently joined:

Somerset’s Jar the Zero Waste Store now has gift cards available on the Alleghenies Marketplace. The store sells a variety of clean, eco-friendly products like laundry detergent sheets, paper towel replacements, and facial cleanser. Customers can purchase bulk items, from food to soaps and oils, and refill their supply in reusable containers.

Johnstown’s Boxed Up Expressions makes gift-giving easy and meaningful with themed gift boxes. Check out the selection offered on the Alleghenies Marketplace, including a cute Christmas cookie set!

Kitty’s Custom Products has a unique gift idea available on the Alleghenies Marketplace: custom license plates. From nature scenes to Breast Cancer Awareness, the selection might have the perfect gift for that someone who has everything.

Soap Hollow Soap has squeaky clean stocking stuffers on the Alleghenies Marketplace. Handcrafted soap made in the hills of Somerset County.  Products are formulated to be long-lasting with ingredients you can pronounce, with extra oils to be extra moisturizing. Each small batch is made with care and love.

More finely crafted handmade soap and bath and body products are available on the Alleghenies Marketplace from Allegheny Hearth. A soapsmith since 1979, Bonnie Klisiewicz Bartley formulates products that pamper the skin and care for my customers, inspired by nature, especially the herbs, flowers and trees in her garden.

Huntingdon County’s Althaea Herb Farm & Apothecary brings homegrown and handmade herbal products that benefit well-being to the Alleghenies Marketplace. Elise Gerhart, a Clinical Herbalist, uses as many homegrown, wild-crafted, and locally-sourced ingredients as possible in her products, which change with the seasons.
